I'm going to try one more time.
I'm going to try to write, like I've always tried.
It's failed in the past. I've bombed it. I'll blog for a few months, and then no one will read, no one enjoys it. My style of writing is a little odd sometimes. You have to be ready to follow my ADD 'rabbit trails.'
Occasionally I might put up a chapter of a book I'm writing.
But maybe I should give up on that too.
There is a drive inside me to write...to never stop writing...but what I write never works. It never flows.
So I guess here is yet another try at a blog. After about 3 fails.
So here goes.
I think you have a great talent of writing! I love reading your blog post.. And I certianly do NOT think you your last blog was a failure!!!!!!!!!!!

It said that "true writers" don't sit around wondering what to write, they don't plan what to write, they don't stop writing because their audience doesn't respond the way they visualized, they *just write* because they can't do anything else! I think that's you :0)
ReplyDeleteSo don't worry about who is or isn't reading, or what they think of it, or how often you post... just do what you do: write! You'll be SO GLAD 15 years from now... remember how nuts it drives you and me that I burned my journals? These blogs will be that important and treasured.

ReplyDeleteI too LOVE your blogs!!! Most mornings it is the first thing I do, even before my tea.....and that is saying something!! I stooped commenting because I thought it might not be cool for your Grandmom to be hanging out on your blog. I agree with mangotreemama, write because you love to even if no one EVER reads it. You will look back on it later in life and marvel at how you changed time and time again all the while staying the same. I happen to think you are talented and hope you don't give up.

ReplyDeleteyeah among others! there was "the call of the sea?" and the other one but I don't remember the name, and they are REALLY fun to read so I will probably want them before I am 40! ;)
